Can a Golf glove give you the correct grip? To say that golf is an extremely rewarding sport is a huge under statement; and this is something you would anyway know - whether you are an expert golfer or whether you have never played the game before. The beauty of golf is that it catches onto the player and does not let go till perfection is achieved. The quest for a great handicap score and a chest full of trophies is one that lasts for many many years; and players practice each week to perfect their game. Especially if the player is self taught or learns from other amateurs, they play for years and wonder why they are not able to strike the ball with precision - whether driving or putting. For many years now, people have been trying to find a way around it, and it is only in the recent years that a breakthrough of considerable proportions has been achieved; and it came through the least expected channel - of a golf glove! Till then, golf gloves were just fashion accessories used by ladies to go along with their golfing whites, or by men who have extra sensitive skin that got rubbed by the leather heads of the clubs. When science showed that putting the golfing club at a particular position in the hand gave an added burst of power and stability to the shot, golf accessory makers immediately decided to use that know-how. They discovered that a particular part of the palm was where maximum power got projected outwards, and hence they struck on an idea that if a golf glove could guide players to put the club at that particular position, they could sense an immediate change in their game. It was indeed surprising for many senior golfers to note that something so simple could bring about such a big change in the game, but it did! A golf glove with the right markings can give a player the correct grip, and when the grip is right, most of the problems in golf are resolved instantly. With a correct grip, the drive and putt instantly become better, and that is all a player wants to see, right? A good golf glove, coupled with a proven
